The proposal tries to find a new system of orientation in the city. The whole project consists of two segments: urban situation and signs. The urban location was developed according to the basic pedestrian swifts and their crossings and then reduced by limited budget. The signs were designed in the sense of semantics and artistic way. Information that was put down is readable in two layers. One is focused on inhabitants and the other one on strangers. The sign is a result of symbolism. It represents middle ages cresset which was able to show, as the only one article in that period, the right way during the night. The design touches the local history and tries to paraphrase it to the present times.
